We now have three qualified personal trainers that can help you with your fitness needs.

He specializes in members just starting out or wanting to learn their way around the weight room.

He specializes in training tri-athletes and coaching runners. He also specializes in plyometrics, agility, and core work.

She specializes in weight loss, post baby weight, and members new to training or jumping back into a fitness routine. She can also help you build strength & endurance

Judo
This is an ongoing monthly class that offers fun for the whole family!!! Spectacular throwing, grappling, pins, & joint locks are all part of the safe fun. Gregg Trude is a second degree black belt & has completed in international & national tournaments.
Classes are offered*: Mondays at 5:00 – 6:30pm AND Fridays 5:00pm – 6:30pm

FITNESS Descriptions

Aquaerobics – Taught by a variety of instructors. Wet and wild for those who want to get wet and wild. A little more sedate for those who want to keep their hair dry
Aquajog – Get ready for an energizing lunch break! This low impact class offers an interval style workout in the pool.
Aqua Zumba –Latin inspired dance moves mixed with water & great music. A new, fun workout for all ages & abilities to enjoy. Join the pool party!
Cycling – Great Cardio workout while biking in group setting.
Fit-n-Tone – This class is all about muscle. You will be “fit-n-tone” in no time!
Get Vertical- Our extension class taught at the Main Street School in East Helena. Get Vertical
offers cardio floor work, sports conditioning, core strength, and yoga. There is a monthly $5
building fee. Get fit and have fun! Now also at the Helena YMCA location!
Kick Boxing- Get your heart pumping and your muscles toned with this fun martial arts style class.
Pilates I- This class will teach beginners the basics of Pilates, the ultimate core body workout.
Pilates II- Core body work for those with several weeks of Pilates experience.
PowerAbs - Tone your core muscles with this circuit style class. You will feel stronger and leaner in no time
SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit – Again this class is specially designed for Medicare eligible
participants. Upper body strength work is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A
chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises. Get fit, have fun, and make
friends!
SilverSneakers® YogaStretch – This class provides modified yoga stretches while sitting in a
chair. Get fit, have fun, and make friends!
Walk N Tone – Enjoy the great outdoors and get fit at the same time. Perform strengthening moves while on your walk and you’ll be toned in no time
Yoga– Breathe, stretch, and be strong. Bring your own mat if you have one and be ready to relax.
Zumba®– A latin inspired dance workout mixed with upbeat, fresh music & you have a dynamite experience sure to pass the time. Come join the party!!

Youths ages 11-14 may use the Fitness Center after successfully completing the Teen Fitness Class. Ages 11-14 must carry their Teen Fitness Card with them.
